Over the last year Four Way Books authors have been the proud recipients of prizes including the Poetry Society of America's Norma Farber Award, the American Academy's distinguished Rome Prize, and many more, as well as receiving wonderful critical reviews in Publishers Weekly, ForeWord, The Constant Critic, and numerous other places.
On Thursday May 8th from 7 to 9pm Four Way Books will host its annual Benefit at Poets House, 72 Spring Street. This event is an important fundraiser to support the work of the press, which currently publishes around 8 books of poetry a year.
There will be refreshments, short readings by Ellen Dudley, C. Dale Young, John Gallaher, and Cammy Thomas, and conversation.
Tickets for the event are $100 per person; RSVP at four_way_editors@yahoo.com. Your donation is tax deductible and will assist the press with its publishing, reading series, and residential program for writers.
Four Way Books would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all its authors on their many wonderful achievements over the past year, and to thank anyone who has bought or read a Four Way book over the year.
